The Xbox 360 is a home video game console developed by Microsoft, and was released in November 2005 as the successor to the original Xbox. The Xbox 360 features an IBM-designed PowerPC-based CPU, which is a three-core processor running at 3.2GHz with two hardware threads per core. The Xbox 360 also includes 512MB of GDDR3 RAM clocked at 700MHz and a custom ATI graphics processor with 10MB of embedded DRAM. The console is capable of outputting up to 1080p HD video resolution and supports Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.

The Xbox 360 also features built-in Wi-Fi and a hard drive for storing game data. Additionally, the Xbox 360 has the capability of playing a variety of music, photo, and video formats, as well as streaming media from the Internet. The Xbox 360 game library consists of over 1,400 titles, including some of the most popular games from the past and present.
