Description
The story begins in Ferelden where the player, named Hawke, flees the Darkspawn with his / her family Ferelden. The player can become a warrior (warrior), magician (Mage) or rogue. Hawke flees with his / her family to the city of Kirkwall, located in Thedas, as a refugee and eventually grows into the Champion or Kirkwall.
The story is told through flashbacks by Varric, a follower of Hawke, to his interrogator Cassandra Pentaghast.
