Cradle 2 the Grave is an ultra-cool adrenaline rush: a hard-hitting martial arts film in the tradition of action thrillers such as Romeo Must Die and Exit Wounds. A professional gang of thieves has captured a shipment of "black diamonds". That is not to the liking of Inspector Su (Jet Li), but even less to the liking of the sadistic mafia boss Ling (Mark Dacascos), who promptly has the daughter of gang leader Fait (rapper DMX) kidnapped. To make matters worse, the stolen diamonds... are stolen. Now Fait and his former pursuer Su must join forces in a race against time to save the diamonds, his daughter and perhaps the world.
