In Hannah Montana: Music Jam you play with Hannah Montana himself or Miley Stewart. As soon as you get further into the game you can unlock another pop star. Miley's friends have been kidnapped by a popular schoolgirl and it's up to Hannah and her friends to stop this schoolgirl. This happens through music. There are a number of instruments that can be played such as the guitar, bass guitar and drum kit.
Each instrument plays differently, but they are all played with stylus and touchscreen. So you play the guitar by moving your stylus over the strings that can be found in the DS screen. You can also record your own songs in the game, in addition to the numbers you have to play while playing the story. You can choose from three chords and you can also indicate whether you want to play electrically or whether you want to keep it acoustic.
