Triumphant

Pokémon Triumphant is the thirteenth expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It was released in February 2010 and contains 109 cards. The set features the debut of the Fighting-type Pokémon Garchomp and the Dark-type Pokémon Honchkrow. It also features the return of many fan-favorite Pokémon, such as Ursaring, Typhlosion, and Steelix. The set focuses on the newly discovered Unova region and its native Pokémon. It also introduces several new mechanics, including “Lost Zone” cards and “Triumphant” Pokémon. The Lost Zone cards allow players to put cards into a separate area of play, while the Triumphant Pokémon can evolve in order to gain additional abilities. The set also contains several new Trainer cards, including the powerful “Energy Recycle System” and “Pokémon Reversal” cards. These cards allow players to quickly recover their energy and switch the active Pokémon in play. The set also contains several promotional cards, such as the “Shiny Rayquaza” card, which was available through the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online. This card features an alternate artwork of the original Rayquaza card. Finally, the set includes several rare cards, including the “Full Art” versions of Garchomp and Honchkrow. These cards feature full-body artwork and are some of the rarest cards in the set.
