Skylanders

Skylanders are a series of video games developed by Activision Blizzard in 2011. The series is based on collectible figurines which are scanned through a portal device to unlock characters, levels, and rewards in the game. The game series primarily revolves around a group of heroic characters who protect the world of Skylands from the evil forces of Kaos. Players can purchase physical figurines of the characters which can be used in-game, as well as additional items such as traps and vehicles which can be used to assist in completing levels. The series has spawned numerous spin-off titles, and is highly popular amongst children and adults alike. The series has been praised for its innovative use of technology, as well as its engaging and imaginative storyline.
