Xbox

The Xbox was Microsoft's first foray into the world of console gaming. Released in 2001, the Xbox was an impressive and powerful system that boasted a 733 MHz CPU, 64 MB of RAM, an 8 GB hard drive, and a custom-built NVidia graphics processor. It was the first console to fully embrace online gaming, and it had a library of over 200 titles at launch. It featured a range of first-party exclusives, such as Halo: Combat Evolved, Fuzion Frenzy, and Project Gotham Racing, as well as popular third-party titles such as Madden NFL 2002, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, and Dead or Alive 3. The console also featured a DVD playback capability, allowing users to watch movies and TV shows on their Xbox.
