Unbroken Bonds

The Pokemon TCG: Unbroken Bonds series is the eighth expansion of the Sun & Moon era of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. It was released in May 2019 and features over 210 cards, including 10 new TAG TEAM Pokemon-GX. This expansion also introduces a new type of card, TAG TEAM Supporters. These cards allow players to use two Supporters in the same turn. Unbroken Bonds is focused on the Legendary Pokemon Lugia and Ho-Oh, as well as their pre-evolutions, Togepi and Pichu. This expansion also introduces two new abilities, Shred and Rapid Strike, as well as the new attack type, Special Energy. The set also includes 14 new Pokemon-GX cards, including the powerful Charizard & Braixen-GX, Mewtwo & Mew-GX, and Eevee & Snorlax-GX. Each of these cards features a powerful GX attack that can turn the tide of battle. Unbroken Bonds also features a variety of Trainer cards, including new ones like Cynthia, Energy Spinner, and Tag Call. There is also a new Stadium card, Shrine of Punishment, which penalizes players who use too many GX and EX cards.
