Sun & Moon

The Pokémon Sun & Moon card series is the latest iteration of the trading card game based on the popular Pokémon video game franchise. The series was released in October 2016 and features a variety of new cards, mechanics, and cards with alternate artwork. The new mechanics include the ability to search your deck for Pokémon-EX or Pokémon BREAK cards, a new type of card that allows you to evolve Pokémon into more powerful forms, and a new energy type called Fairy energy. In addition, the set features many new characters and Pokémon from the Sun & Moon game series, as well as some familiar faces from the previous games.
